"The" Best Hair Styles for your Face Shape

There are about six different Face shapes. Which one are you?


Before you try to get a new hair cut in this new year, first thing you need to know is what Style suits the shape of your face best.
Before you dye your hair you need to know what flatters your skin-tone best.




One hair cut and style does not fit all! (with exceptions on updos)
One hair color does not fit all!
If that was the case, I'm sure God is capable to have given us all the same face shape and same hair color. Don't you guys think so?

1-Heart face
Wide at the forehead and cheekbones, narrow at the jawline.

2-Square face
Strong and broad forehead with angular jaw.

3-Round face
Circular shaped. Length is approx equal to width.

4-Diamond Face
Jaw line significantly wider than the brow bone and cheekbone.

5-Long Face
It's shaped like a rectangle. Features of a long face are a square jaw and a square forehead.

6-Oval face
Curvilinear shape. Length is equal to one and a half times width, with forehead and jaw the same width


How do I know what shape face I have?
a). Sit in front of the mirror and slick your hair back.

b). Use the lipstick to draw around your face in the mirror. Move away from the mirror and look at the shape.

Short Style:a short bob shape is a safe and beautiful. This works best on curly or wavy hair, just don't let it grow any longer than your jaw line. Insist on a choppy cut around your chin - not a thick, blunt, bush of locks. Pixie hairstyles are great on heart-shaped Faces. This hairstyles are super flattering on a pixie face shape. Pixie hair is becoming more and more popular as more celebrities get their hair cut into this boyish-yet-still-feminine-style.

Medium Length Bob: bob must be heavy at the chin, this balances out your cheeks with your pointed chin. Chin-length bobs are great for your face shape, just make sure the ends are a bit tapered. Side-swept bangs are also gorgeous on your face shape. If you want a bob, choose one that falls at or below the jawline.

Bang & Long Hair Style: long, side-swept Bangs will look gorgeous, especially if your hair is quite thick. Short, full styles that emphasize upper face. Height at the crown. Severe, slicked back looks. If you are a dramatic heart shape, the short full styles with tapered necklines which emphasize the upper face will make you look top heavy. Too much height at the crown will give the appearance of a longer and narrower chin. Just remember if you have a dramatic heart shape face, you have great cheekbones to emphasize! Avoid top-heavy cuts, and no
one will be able to resist your sweetheart appeal. Avoid Short, blunt-cut bangs and harsh, choppy layers. Choose a style that will create volume around the bottom of your face. But whatever your hair type, don't have your hair too long. Four inches below your shoulders is ample.
Ask your hairdresser to cut them round so that they lightly fall on to your face then use a serum to smooth over and keep them frizz-free.

If you have Curly Hair Avoid: shampooing everyday, you'll find your curls look best the less you shampoo, instead, use a heavy conditioner in the shower (curly hair tends to be dry hair).

• Thick, long hair? Ask for soft layers to soften your chin area - keep the layers cut as close to your jaw line as possible so that they can fall on to your face.

Long, curly locks will look fantastic on a heart-shaped face if you keep them soft and loose.
