Best Hair Cuts and Style for Round-Shape Face

#4-Today is all about Round-shape Face
The Round face shape is a full face with a round chin and hairline with the widest point at the cheeks and ears. This face shape is as wide as it is long.

Perfect Eyebrows For The Round Face Shape
Make a round face appear less round by making the face appear longer.
Apply lines that go more up and down the face. This helps draw the eye up and down and lengthens it. Create as high an arch as you can. Softer angled look will work too.
A high arched brow accomplishes this. Look for a brow shape that follows a straight line to the peak of the brow, and creates more vertical lines.
Stay away from a rounded brow shape, it'll make your face rounder.

Many stylists says: people with round face should never wear a ponytail. But I say different; don't be afraid to wear your hair any length or style you like! The best Style or length is the one you like! If you want to wear a ponytail, try it with a nice loose bangs or a few tendrils above or below chin. (if you're concerned with the roundness)
Don't never forget that the best Style is the one you like!If you're happy with it - that's all it matters! You're the one wearing it!

A round face doesn't mean you're fat- it just means its round! Some women may have a rounder face because of the few extra weight on them, there are still women who are supper skinny and have round face as well.

(guideline: Jordin, Gabriela and Selena all have a round face, if it looks good on them it'll look good on you).

Jordin Sparks
Like Jordin, for a round face shape you’ll want to try hair styles with fullness and height at the crown. By layering the top to achieve fullness and keeping the rest of the hair cut relatively close to the face, your round face shape will appear longer and narrower.

Gabrielle Union
Gabrielle Union lightened her tresses with honey-hued highlights and added texture but creating layers from the chin down.
Of course the best hairstyle is the one you like, but for round faces length works best. Long layers and a long fringe. If you have the length already get to the hair dressers and add some face shaping wispy layers - you will be surprised at how much difference this can make to your style.

Your face shape can wear short or long styles, but cuts that fall below the chin work best.
The less volume around the face the better. Adding waves helps to deflect the shape of the face by creating an illusion of a longer face. If you already have curly or natural wave all you need is some mousse, scrunch your hair and allow it to dry on its own.

Selena Gomez
What young girl doesn't love curly tendrils?! Selena Gomez works the look perfectly, framing her round porcelain face with curly locks and a slight pouf on top. This messy updo is the formal look du jour!

Curls and Waves
Loose curls and waves works great for you. Medium or long curly hair, go for some choppy layers through the back and the bottom of your hair to give it a nice shape.
Styles that keep the sides of your hair short or close to the face is best. Work with your curls by letting them add height at the crown. Longer curly hair with the bulk of your hair pulled back behind your ears looks great, or with just a very few ringlets along your face to minimize the fullness. By including a few layers to build texture, especially at the crown, and working the majority of the waves and curls beneath chin level, the round faced person can wear almost any style.

Bangs are your friend
Layered bangs rather than straight or heavy bangs. Keep your bangs in front covering your forehead. If you're a fan of bangs, choose long or side swept and side parts.

Double Chin
If you have a double chin, keep the hair around your face above chin level to draw the eyes upwards. The back may be grown a little longer -- a bob would be ideal.

Short Neck
If you have a short neck, a short cropped style will make a shorter neck appear longer. Long hair worn up will give the same effect. Well-placed highlights will also slenderize the face. Highlights that are woven around the face in an "angel halo" effect will also help an overly round face appear thinner.

Straight hair
Try washing your hair the night before and let it air dry for more texture and fullness. Dry shampoo can add some fulness as well. The golden rule to remember is that round faces need a style that has longer pieces that fall onto your face to lengthen your cheeks - making them look slimmer. When you have a hair style that's all one length, this tends to add more fullness to the face and does not compliment your physical characteristics.

Cuts and Styles to Avoid:
1-A rounded hair cut shape.
2-Fullness at side of ears, ending at the chin will certainly add weight to your already round face and chin length so stay away.
3-Center parts tend to accentuate roundness, so stay away from them if possible.
4-Also avoid hair styles with short-short crops, or straight “chopped” bangs.
5-Because the widest part of your face is at the cheeks and ears, you need to avoid having the fullness of the cut here, as it will make your face appear wider.

Short Style
Try short styles which give height. This frames the front and works with either a low or high ponytail. For short hair, a simple, thin head band can push the hair back from the face getting it out of the way while creating volume at the top and sides of the crown which will add height and elongate the face. Styles with a swept-back direction, and longer than chin length will look good on you.
