Fashion's Do's and Don'ts? Really???

First of all I want to Congratulate you for your new clutter free CLOSET!!!

                                                 You did it!!!!!

And for you whose still trying to digest the concept of having to deal with your cluttered mayhem closet, I want you to know you can do it! It'll be one of the best time you ever invested on yourself.

Now that you know all your clothes, and can easily reach them, You can actually look gorgeous and updated without braking the Bank!

You can also look gorgeous and comfortable without looking raggedy!

Many people like to pretend or live in a denial that clothes are not important! Really?

In today's society its not the person in the clothes ~ but the clothes on the person.

We all know that's not God's way but unfortunately we live in this world.

Why should you allowed someone to judge you poorly just because of your outward style? Why jepadizing your career in the sake of clothes?

Why not get hired in the field or company of your dreams just because of your style? Why do you insist on being obstinate hurting your career or even the people you love with your outdated, oversized, undersized, raggedy style in the name of confort or this is me excuses? To be confortable has nothing to do with a raggedy style. I do not wear anything unless its confortable.

Please allow me to share one of my principles with you:

If two (2) or more people are telling you something is wrong with your character or style;  trust me, the chance is, it's wrong! It's impossible that everyone around you is wrong and you're the only one right! Especially the people you know that they love you and want the best for you!  

One must bear in mind that whatever we do affects our image, family and career whether its intentional or not, good or bad.Our family are either proud or ashamed of us. We're either their pride and joy or their disgrace! What are you to your family? What's your reputation in your job? Does your clothes mimic your lifestyle? Does it really reflects who you are or is it a cap out? 

Seriously, I don't know who died and made these media the Fashion Police and goddess of do's and don'ts? I mean Really? Seriously, who died and made them the boss of our closets? huh? It's ok to give ideas - but to boss my closet? I don't think so!
Taste is an individual character. I believe that Choices, Opinions and Taste is a unique quality and a freedom that we posses within us that no one has the rights to take it from us. Clothes should be a major part of someone's personality, because its the very first postcard anyone will ever get from you. And even when you're gonna your image will stay with that person. We always leave a piece of us to everyone we meet and talk to. Now the question is, what image of you, you would like to leave engraved in the  mind of these people? How you cary yourself outside reflects who you are inside.

It's very funny, but I usually like most of the things they say "Don'ts".

My Style is mine and I like to be free to explore my likes and dislikes.

I think life has more then enough important do's and don'ts that we should force ourselves to abide by them daily,  but I definitely don't think Fashion should be one of them. I think Fashion should be fun and creative, it should not be about, rules and price tags.  It should be about spending time with yourself. A Me time! A me getting to know me time without any one else's interruptions.

For example:
They say ~  Don't mix gold and silver accessories!

I love to mix gold and silver accessories

Don't mix patterns and prints!

If I find the colors that compliment each other, I will. 

Don't wear same colors together; such as pink and red

I wear whatever color I like and looks good on me. If you like to wear same color top and bottom like me, try combining different texture material.

Handbag, shoes and belt must match!

I hate matchy-matchy! They should compliment each other but they do not have to match.

Don't wear black and brown together!
I love black and brown together. I love black shoes brown belt, vise/verse.
I love black pants brown tops etc. it depends on the shade, but I absolutely love it. etc.etc..........

Blah, blah, blah..................... really?

Now that your Closet is clutter free you can able to organize it in the way you can see all your clothes, shoes and jewelry as soon as you open the door.
In order for you to look beautiful and Stress Free every mourning you must have an inspiration of what you want to wear every mourning the minute you open your closet door. If you want to look your best every day of the week stress free no matter where you're going, you must learn to apply those 10 step Closet rules. It's a must!

If you follow them and touch it up once a week, I guarantee you'll be clutter free for life. It'll save you time in the morning and money.You'll look your very best every morning, will never be late to work again, and wont have to keep on rebuying things again and again just because you can't find the other ones. 

I'm gonna give you my secret on how to look your very best every morning in a fraction of a time. "Prepare everything the night before."

How to organize your closet now that you've removed all those unwanted clothes:

The best way to organize your closet is to separate it in three:

a)- season first

b)- then type

c) and then colors

 ☞- Combine your love, love, love  and your love pile together 

☞- Now separate them by season spring/summer ~ fall/winter

Season:
For e.g. we're in summer so your fall/winter should be washed or dry cleaned folded and put away.

Type:
All your clothes should be hung nicely uniformed.
all dresses
all your skirts
blouses
pants and capri

All Dresses

All Blouses

All your Pants

All your T-shirts

etc. etc... Got the idea?

Your Colors:
Your colors should be in unison like so:
All white - beige
all black - navy blue, light blue
red - pink- purple
green, yellow - coral - orange

Color wheel method is great because
a)- your closet will look beautifully organized



b)- and it'll help you to broad your mix and match ideas especially if your color blind. Just in case you don't know, color blind means you have no idea what color goes with what.





  

Hangers
Pick one Color Hangers and make sure they're  all facing the same directions.
Don't use a different color hanger for each outfit, it looks ugly and uninformed.

I love the wood ones, look how nicely uniformed they look. They're a bit more expensive but it looks nice and it helps keeping the shape of your tops. The cheap plastic ones sometimes they deform your clothes.  Besides the wood ones are very earthy looks nice and smells good too.

You can use all white or colorful ones
Soft pastel colors looks nice but make sure they're all the same color.

It has been proven that human beings function much better with visualization.
First we must envisage it by forming a mental image of the look we want before we even dress up. If you can barely get into your closet how would you know what to wear? Besides if you can't see it you'll forget what you have. Many women wears the same clothes over and over again just because it's easier reached. Others prefer to run their credit cards dry, buying and buying more clothes just because they can't find what they already have. Instead spending your money on one more pair of shoes, or one more pair of jeans, why don't you use that money and buy some closet organizers?

Here we go:
☞ 1- Take everything out of your close. I mean everything....
If you think it's tedious or don't have the time in your hand, start with those outdated outfits that has been in there for ages, the ones that don't fit and the ones you rarely use.


☞ 2- Separate them in three (3) piles
a)  love, love, love
b) love once in a while
c) those out-dated ones, the ones you're tired off, and the ones that don't fit

c) outdated, tired and don't fit

☞ 3- Now join your love, love, love & love piles together


☞ 4- After you have sorted all of them categorize them by style like so
a) all dresses
b) all blouses
c) all skirts
d) city shorts/ capri
e) and all pants

☞ 5- Your (c) pile, those out-dated, tired off and ill-fitting ones 

for different reasons such as: you simply grew out of them, you lost or gain weight.
You can either donate them, exchange them with some of your friends, sell them to a consignment store or storage them until you decide what to do with them. Trust me, you will enjoy the extra space in your close!

☞ 6- You should be able to see all your shoes at once 

With so many easy and inexpensive ways to organize your shoes, why should they be throwing on the floor? You can use clear shoe boxes, or under the bed clear/vinyl shoe storage bags, neatly organized on a floor shoe rack, over the wire rack, so you can easily see them. Any one of these method will do just fine.




☞ 7- All your belts and scarfs should be hung together or nicely rolled 

☞ 8- Hang your Purses/Bags 

If there's one thing I hate is my purse on the floor! Every one who knows me they know not to put my purse on the floor. Don't mess with my purse! Why spend so much money on those purses only to have them thrown on the floor? Do you know how nasty that is? When I see a woman throwing her purse on those nasty public restrooms' floor I feel so disgust!  Check this site out! When And Where To Wear What? Final Part

A great person is comprised of personality, character and honesty. 
Not Physical things, and definitely not clothes! 
But it represents a big part of our life.

Today is all about Casual Look!
Something so simple, yet many woman has problems with it.
They cannot seem to figure it out so they allow themselves to get overwhelm by it. They either over-do or under-do it.

What does Casual look means?

Casual means have fun with it! Engrave your personality on it. 
You can wear clothes that are more colorful and definitely more comfortable. It allows you to express your sense of style and add a touch of your personality much more.
Casual means you can look and feel relaxed without wearing or look like you still wearing your pajamas in public. Colorful patterns and bright colors in the Summer is one way to show a relaxed and confident look, but you have to make sure not to overdo it. Sundresses, spaghetti-strap dresses, Slim city shorts, Polo-style shirts with your jeans, chino and shorts, T-shirts.

What's the difference between Business and Street Casual?

a)-Business casual should be a bit more conservative and stylish. Just because your job allows you to dress casual does not mean you should wear: tight revealing clothing, ripped jeans, pajamas, flip flops, crocs, those old scuffed shoes and sneakers to work!

b)- Street looks means personal activities
 it could be more sporty and relaxed look
Any style jeans, city shorts, (knee or above knee length), Polo-style shirts, T-shirts, logos and slogans outfits, sandals, slippers, flip flops, crocs and sneakers are just fine.

Fashion doesn't have to be a sacrifice. We have much more important things in life to sacrifice; I don't think fashion should be one of them. I like beautiful clothes and shoes but if it's uncomfortable, I will not wear it. No matter who's wearing, what brand it is or how much it cost. No can't do! Comfort does not have to be a disadvantage! We don't have to choose one or the other. We just have to learn to balance it and add a touch of our personality and feminism to it. That's all!

So as you can see you don't have to walk around in those run-down raggedy shabby clothes or flip flops just because it's a casual day or because you like to be comfortable.
