Self- Disciplined

What is Discipline?

Discipline is to say "No" when your entire being wants to say "Yes"!
  • Discipline- is to walk in a store and come out with the pair of shoes, or clothing you need and not the ones you liked. Now that's real discipline!:-)))
  • Discipline- is to walk in a store and see all those beautiful look at me dresses; too revealing, too short, or those beautiful see through blouses and you just walk away. Walk away because although you like'm they don't represent who you are.
  • Discipline- is being able to manipulate the trends out there and mold them to suit your character without compromising your belief and your principals without sacrificing style.
  •  Discipline- is too know when to stop shopping.
  • Discipline- is to command your self/body to do the right thing even when it hurts.
  • Discipline- is to train your mind into being yourself, having your very own personal-style. I know trying new things can be scary for some people, so take baby steps by starting with your best features or what you like the most about yourself.

Undisciplined person dresses like this in public because they neither have self-respect nor respects for others.
They have no self-rules, dignity or dress code.
They force every one to look at them wether you want to or not.
They live their lives as if there's no tomorrow.

These are some beautiful ideas on how to wear your super short-short dresses without looking like this

You can wear them with your tights or your skinny jeans like s.

Now tell me how great will these tops look with your skinny jeans or tights with these boots? These ankle boots are great because they can be worn all year around. So invest and buy a really nice one. you can wear them with your skinny jeans, tights, pants, dresses or skirts.

How cute are these mini dresses?
How gorgeous are these boots?

When you're a Disciplined person you can wear anything and still look great!
Look at this style it looks great and decent.
I love everything here.

I love this white blouse with suspender
but because I'm a Disciplined Style person
I would close the next button  or tie a really pretty silk scarf around my neck with it and Voila`.

Self-Discipline: is a life-long on going process, it never ends!

Talents, knowledge, power or money without Self-Discipline is meaningless.
Self-Discipline is the ability to tell our ego, overconfident self, pride, laziness, bad habits, self-doubts and everything else that comes with the package to get behind us and let us do what needs to be done.

Self-discipline means denying your flesh desires and impulse, resisting temptations to do what's right or needs to be done. Discipline means, mental freedom. Freedom to be able to think and act as you think best, and not as others think you should. Discipline is earned and taught through a hard core self-teaching. Self-disciplene doesn't happen overnight, but when it does the rewards are for life. No one is born with Self-Discipline. Self-Discipline means developing a Strong Stamina! It means denying your feelings and emotions to do what's right.

It means to train our selves into creating new personal-styles, new habits of thoughts, acts and speech. When we're 'undisciplined', we have no goals, no taste and no opinions of our own. We go with the flow. We're slaves to whatever other says. We're slaves to trends, and media. Whatever they say is in style, or whatever we see others wearing, we'll do as well.

What do you think hurts more "The pain of having to Discipline your-self or the pain of Regrets" and consequences? Should-off, could-off, would-off etc.? I think discipline is much cheaper, what do you guys think?

When you're a Disciplined person your Solo goal in life is to change yourself daily.
You're not trying to follow the crowd, you just trying to be a better you!

"For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruits of righteousness to those who has been trained by it". Hebrews 12:11

Innovation
What is Innovation?

Innovation is all about the renewing of your mind.

Innovation: is to never be conformed, always renewing your mind.
Always trying to find new ways of doing things.
In short, never be afraid of trying new things.

An Innovated Person: is a persistent person who is not afraid to take risks and make mistakes. Persistence is the key to all victory in life. An Innovated person does not go with the flow. She creates her own flow! She's able to customize and modify any trend out there to her own personal-Style without being a trend copycat.
She's not afraid to try a new lipstick color, different styles and color of clothes every now and then. If you have those heirlooms that you just can't let go, update them! Mix and match them with some more updated pieces. Maybe  you have some pieces in your closet that you love so much that you can't let go, or maybe it belonged to your family for several generations. So be an Innovated person and updated it. Change the buttons, add a belt, add some flowers applique to it etc... and VoilĂ .
Or you can frame them and use them as a remembrance souvenir relic of your family in your office or TV room.

Herewith is a quick list of  7 different ways how to be an Innovated person and have your very own Innovated personal-style.
  • 1-Addition
  • 2-Alteration
  • 3-Depart
  • 4-Deviation
  • 5-Latesd Fashion
  • 6-Modification
  • 7-Modernization
1-Addition: don't be afraid to add something different to your wardrobe, your makeup, your jewelry collection and your hair jewelry every now and then.

2-Alteration: when you buy a dress that doesn't do your curve a justice take it to the cleaners and have them alter it to your body shape. Or you find something really nice on Sale, if the price is right take it to the cleaners and have them alter it to your size or length. I do it.

3-Depart: abandon, slip away from those old fashion mentality.

4-Deviation: little-by-little start to deviate from that old fashion or let's say
not so interested wardrobe you have established.

5-Lastest Fashion: be informed on what's the latest trend so you'll know what to invest your money when you go shopping. You don't have to be a Fashionista, but we all need to buy clothes one way or the other right? So, if you gonna buy some clothes don't you think is better to invest on some fashionable clothing?

6-Modification: have variations of clothes and colors in your wardrobe.
Customize and modify your wardrobe so you'll have suitable outfits for every for every occasion.

7- Modernization:   just because we're in the 20th century, doesn't mean you should only wear modern clothes. The Vintage is never outdated in my Style -book. The 50's is my inspiration for when I'm shopping. I love the feeling of it. The 50's are 'The' most Lady-like, feminine, beautiful, sophisticated and elegant style of all times. Although it's more beautiful and more fun to wear, we must understand that everything in life changes, the weather changes, we change, fashion changes and technology change as well. I love Lucille Balls style on I love Lucy. the 50's fashion, I'm always looking for clothes that has a little feel of the 50's to it. But that does mean I'm gonna walk around rock-n-rolling as if I'm back in the 50's. A modernist person knows how to mix and match the old with the new. If you like the feel of the 50's or the 70's, add one piece at the time to your outfit. Nothing stays the same forever, when the world turns we have no choice but to turn with it as well!

I love Polka Dots! There's nothing that says 50's more then Polka Dots.

The 50's Style is all about polka dots, square, and deep round neck line cuts, A-line skirts and dresses to accentuate your waist.

Love, love these dresses, the color the style and the neck details are just amazing.

Beautiful soft pastel Roses.

How elegant and feminine are these suits?

Just gorgeous! These suits can take you from the office all the way to a cocktail party.

        I love this Dress!
Tell me this is not a fun beautiful and elegant dress to wear? I'll wear this dress anytime. Just gorgeous.

Are You Committed To Your New Year's Resolution

Commitment means P.U.S.H.
Pray - Until - Something - Happens

Commitment is the Foundation of Life.
Commitment means ~ giving-up is not an option.
That means ~ if you fall, get up stronger,
Do what needs to be re-done,
Fix what needs to be re-fixed
and mend what needs to be re-mended in this 2013,
but you just do not give up. And that's that!

Are you ready to be committed to your New Year's Resolution?
I really do believe in New Year's Resolution.
I think it's an opportunity to start anew.
Start your life over, or fix what's broken.

Every year we all make a list of our New Year's Resolution hopping to achieve them all.
But half way to the Year we get tired and discouraged, and through it all up in the air.

One thing we all need to understand is that, nothing happens overnight.
We don't gain those unwanted extra pounds overnight, we don't get in debts overnight, we don't get those bad habits overnight, we don't dislike (hate) someone overnight ... got the point?

We must remind our selves that we have 365 days to do what needs to be done, if we have to do it over and over again until we get right, oh well, let it be!
It's better to try it again and again, to fix or mend anything in life rather then giving up.

The worst pain in life, is the pain of Regrets!
Especially when you cannot go back and fix it. It's an on-going pain in your soul that no Tylenol or Advil can heal it.
I think the pain of trying, fixing, building and rebuilding your life if needed for that matter, is a small token in comparison to the pain of regrets.
Trust me! Been ~ there ~ done ~ that!

For example Emerald is the color of 2013
Are you ready to incorporate some emerald color into your wardrobe.
Emerald is not my favorite color, so I'm gonna have to shop around for the right tone. Don't wear it just because it's the trend of 2013, find the tone of emerald you like and suits your skin tone.

Commit yourself to a Self-Modification in this 2013
Just because the color of 2013 is emerald, it doesn't mean your entire closet should be emerald. Just incorporate some emerald into your wardrobe so you can mix and match and, Baby ~ you're a Fashionista.

Don't wear all Emerald from head to toes, it can be pretty overwhelming. And yes please do leave emerald and red just for Christmas. :-)))

This is my favorite Emerald color
It's soft and beautiful. It's more forgiven and basically goes with any color .

These emeraldThese emerald earrings are gorgeous earrings are gorgeousThey'll look great with basically anything

I love this Emerald dress

Don't be afraid to mix and match

Emerald looks great with black, brown, tan, grey, navy blue and white. Don't forget your Blue Jeans. Emerald looks amazing with dark blue jeans.

Commitment means will power.
When you're committed to what you want, and work hard at it, you will achieve your goal. Your resolution is bound to come!

Many women are not committed to develop their own Self-Style because they allow fear  of been a laughingstock or ridiculed by their friends to control them.
Practice makes perfect. No one was born mastering anything. If we allow fear of failures to control us, we'll never be committed, excel, or mount to anything in life.
Without Commitment we'll never enjoy successes or happiness in life.

A healthy recipe Commitment for 2013:
Your goal is not gonna come flying to your lap, you're gonna have to earn it.

1- Don't look at what you'll have to sacrifice in order to achieve your goal, no-one will hand you what you want in a silver plater.

2- To loose those extra pounds, you/we gonna have to close your/our mouth a little bit, and start eating the kind of food you/we don't like. Eating too much of the kind of food you/we like is what got you/us overweight in the first place.  Right! :-)))

2- To be out of debt, you gonna have to stop shopping for few months.
Cut or put away those credit cards and be creative with what you have in your closets.
Eat at home, learn to do your hair and nails yourself. Have a yard sale with those old things you have hanging around the house/closet and buy some new things instead of running your credit card. Trade some of those clothes and shoes you've had for a long time with your friends. etc...

3- Make a Commitment to try a different hair Style at least once a week.
Or try a different color clothes (e.g. emerald)  you have never worn once a week.
Or try a different Style clothes such as: pants if you never wore them, or a skirt, or a dress, etc...

4- Make a Commitment to try wearing make-up this year.
 Try a new color lipstick.
A new color eyeshadow or blush.

5- Commit your self to try your best this Year to better yourself for you, not to please A or B. So you'll have no regrets later on.

"The Lord Almighty has sworn, "Surely, as I have planned so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will stand". Isaiah 14:24

How to Dress Stylish and Respectfully

God respects men.
Men neither respects God, nor respects men.
God created respect when he gave us the freedom of choice.

Respect is the Symphony of life.
Without respect there's no harmony.
Respect has no color, no gender and no financial status.
Respect can neither be bought, nor demanded; it is earned!

What's the difference between been respectable and been respectful?
People with character are automatically respectable and respectful.
Respectable people do not demand respect from anyone, they give it, that's why they're respectful.

I love this quote from Albert Einstein. This is what respect is all about. We should respect people as a person, not for what they have or do.

“I speak to everyone in the same way, whether he is the garbage man or the president of the university.”

"Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body".
1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Respect:
 Self-Respect is not Self-esteem
Self-Respect and self-esteem are two different things.
When you have Self-Respect you automatically have self-confidence.
Low- self-esteem will not be an issue. Because you learn to value who you are as a person.
Self-esteem is based on what you think of your self. When you focus on what you don't have, or don't know, and what others think of you, than you'll develop low self-esteem . Self-Respect is based on what you do, to represent who you are. It's a character of self-value one possesses within, that No One can take it away from you. No-matter the amount of material things you have, the color of your skin, the shape of your body or the length of your hair. You don't have to be gorgeous, or be a size zero, or even have lots of money or fashionable clothes to have Self-Respect. It's a Self-principal that allows you to value who you are. When you self-value, you'll be very careful with the type of men you select to be part of your life, and  those you want to be friends with, so they'll have no other choice but to value you as well.

You must remember that when you walk like this on the streets:
#1- you're risking your life, because there are many perverts out-here
#2- you're degrading your self, to nothing more than a piece of meat
#3- You're characterizing your self as an easy come and get me girl
#4-your're disrespecting the public as well, because not everyone are
interested in seeing your bun-bun or your cleavage.

What respect will you get by portraying yourself as an easy to get? How do you expect any men to respect you when you yourself don't respect you?

What respect do you expect to get when you posting your whole body out on the menu of the world for every eyes to see for free.

Why half of the women in the world think everyone is interesting in seeing their assets in public? Well, not every men are interested, and its an offense to woman.

No, we are not interested, ok?

Besides I think any man that would like to feast their eyes on any woman walking down the streets half naked like this would be just for the fun of it.
You'll never be the one he will take home to meet his mom or to the altar.
You'll never be his Moon or his Star ~ you'll just be a piece of meat, for that's how you portraying your self to him. sorry ☹

How disrespectful is this to all the other eyes that are not interested.
How about the eyes of those innocent children that don't really need to see this?

"Likewise also that women should adorn themselves  in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control... 1Timothy 2:9

To love yourself is to protect and respect your body.
What kind of decent man would like their woman dressed like this in public?
When you Respect your self, others will be compelled to respect you.
How do you expect anyone to respect you, when you yourself don't respect yourself.

Everyone loves free things, but No-one appreciates or values free things.
It's so embarrassing to see the amount of women out there that are either walking half naked with those see through clothing, or wearing clothes two and three sizes smaller then their regular sizes spilling everything out in peoples face.

No matter how much you admire yourself, or how beautiful you think your curves are not everyone are interested in seen them.  I seriously doubt if this is the kind of woman they would like to take to the altar to be their one and only, since they don't even know the difference between, under-ware, beach-wear and outfits. How are they going to know the difference between a look- at me street woman and a respectable woman.

I love see-through clothing, we just have to make some adjustments.
There's nothing wrong with see-through clothing,
you just have to know how to wear them.

You can wear a white or skin tone camisole under your blouses or a
Seamless mini slip under your see-through dresses

I love the way Tyra Banks is wearing this see-through dress. She looks amazing in it, and is revealing just enough. You go Tyre!

Julia Steeler looks amazing and appropriate in this orange see-through blouse.

These girls look amazing in these see-through blouses.

about $20.00
Why not wear these seamless mini slip under your see-through dresses?
     They're amazing and inexpensive.

Or these gorgeous little tank tops under your beautiful see-through blouses.
There are so many ways a woman can dress Stylish without compromising her principals, tarnishing her name or simply looking trashy.

A Respectable woman can be Stylish and never outdated not just in her appearance but in her character as well! Don't never forget this!

Core Values In Fashion Style & Life

These are the Core Values of life that can not be bought with money.
Is either you have it or you don't!

When you have these values within you, it automatically reflects on your Fashion Style.
You're absolutely sure of your self, your feminism, your taste, and what represents your character and your integrity. You will not compromise it, to please A-B or any passing- by trend. You will never get lost in the crowd, wearing something just because all the other girls are wearing.

Core Values:
Integrity
Respect
Committed
Innovation
Disciplined

These Values are so important that I decided to break them down one-by-one.

"In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching (dressing) show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so those who oppose you may have nothing bad to say about you".Titus 2:7-8

So what does Style/Fashion has to do with Integrity?
Everything!

Integrity:
Self-Integrity is the way of life.
You may have all the money in the world, but if you have no Integrity, you have nothing!  Integrity is to have enough respect for you and others around you, especially those inferior to you. Integrity is to be true to yourself, and knowing that your main concern is to be you. Integrity is to know that God gave you "Freewill" to be You; you don't have to  copy anyone else. If he wanted you to be someone else, He would-off made you someone else, right?

Integrity is not to run away from your thoughts and your feelings, and your weaknesses, but to work at it and better yourself to the level you think you should be.
Running from yourself, is living in a denial. Self-Integrity is to accept your flaws, the-good, the-bad and the-ugly, and work on them. Don't run from them. The easiest thing in life is to live for others, do what others say or do. The hardest thing in life is to live for yourself, to please you first, to think for yourself.

When we have Integrity, we are compelled to maintain our image.
Our ultimate goal is to protect our best Asset in life which is Self-Integrity.
We don't depend on clothes to make us look good ~ we make clothes look good!
We don't have to wear clothes two or three size smaller than we are to show-off our curves. We know who we are and what we like, we don't have to compromise with the marketing trends or media out there. We don't have to settle for what others tells us what we should be wearing. We know what we like and what look good on us and represent us. Not them!

Now how chic and sophisticated does these women look? Simply gorgeous!

They're completely covered up and still look amazing.
Self-Integrity is to do what's right, not what everyone else is doing. It's hard, but it pays off in the end.

You'll gain a good name with men/women and God!

When a woman has Self-Integrity, she doesn't have to say much, her Personal-Style speaks for her.

Do you really have to walk around half-naked or squeezing your blood circulation, to be beautiful?                                             I don't think so!

Integrity is telling yourself the truth when you look in the mirror.

Integrity is been able to look in the mirror and say:
'mirror, mirror don't lie to me' :-)))*

When a woman has no Self-Integrity, she's hallow, she has no principles or self-value, she's insecure of herself, so she tries to promote her outer-beauty to cover-up her insecurity and emptiness within.

So ladies, before you put on that ~ Outfit ~ think twice and talk to yourself, by asking this question, is it worthy?

To have Self-Integrity is to be honest to yourself, tell yourself the truth even when it hurts.

It's pretty but its too tight, too short or too revealing!
Do you really have to be as naked and as seductive as Jessica Rabbit to feel beautiful?

"A good reputation is better than much wealth; high esteem over silver or gold".
Proverbs 21:1
