How To Use Make-Up In The Summer

Spring/Summer to me is all about pretty fun feminine colors

10-Summer Makeup Tips To Avoid Meltdowns, Mask & Cakey Like Effects

Remember in the summer we all face - humidity, sweat and face oils. So we need all the help we can get to look cool but yet beautiful.

Summer to me is all about embracing the essence of your natural beauty, especially if you have a nice golden tan. I like my face to be soft and natural looking, so I can show-off my tan. Summer to me is all about healthy natural glow. Remember in the summer we have to put our best face forward everyday, it's too hot to hide it under your hair. So, you want to make sure you look natural but with a radiant summer glow as well, not just bare boring tired looking face.

As soon as summer months roll in we all  look forward to wear less make-up. But wearing less makeup does mean go bear-face. It means we should have a more natural, neat-looking and barely there summer glow makeup. You should lighten up your makeup and have people wondering; is she wearing make-up? Using less makeup allows your skin to breathe and your natural beauty to shine.

Stay away from those heavy makeup that will make your face look heavy and cakey like. By midday you'll have makeup meltdown streaks and running down for face.

1- Wash your face
Start your day by washing your face with a gentle facial cleanser. Pat dry or allow it to air dry.
This ultra gentle cleanser by Neutrogena was the Award Winner of 2013 by Allure readers.
2-Moisturizer with SPF built in
SPF - means sun protection factor just in case you din't know.
Apply it lightly to keep your skin moist and protect from the harsh summer heat.
This Glow moisturizer by Clean & Clear has a very light sparkle to give you a nice healthy summer glow and it only cost $7

3- Light Water-Based Foundation or Powder
Avoid oil-based liquid and cream foundation in the summer. It will make your face look heavy and streaky and will start to run down your face midday.   it'll clog you pores and may cause your skin to brake-out. Especially if you have oily skin. Instead use a very light mineral powder foundation with an SPF. Use a Brush and blend it well so it can balance your skin tone.

4- Use Concealer if needed
Use concealer only if you really need it, if you can do without avoid it.
If needed, use it lightly under your eyes, and on blemishes if you have any.

5- Blush
This Too Faced Blush from Sephora is perfect because it has three different beautiful colors that can in all skin tone. And it's a baked color formula, meaning it's more resistant to sweat. keep it soft and natural looking as if you were born with it. :-) No one needs to know, right?

6-  Bronzer for a Beautiful Summer Glow
I love bronzer in the summer. It's really pretty in the summer and suits every skin-tone. Brush your bronzer lightly on the apples of your cheeks, your nose, your chin and your hairline. Not too heavy, keep soft looking as if you have a tan.

7-  Mate and Satin Eyeshadows
Wearing eyeshadows in the summer is really tough. But these natural soft shimmer colors are really beautiful for summer days. But use it half way around your eyes only, as shown in the picture bellow. Do not apply above your crease, because when you sweat it'll smudge and crack, it'll definitely look a mess.

8- Waterproof mascara and Liner
Waterproof mascara is an ideal for summer because it'll not smudge when you sweat. Just a touch of it will bring your eyes out. Brown shade is softer in the summer. You can also try to use the mascara lightly on the bottom lashes as the liner for a softer look if you want to skip the liner, or you can use waterproof liner as well.

9- Waterproof Mascara and Liner Remover
Waterproof mascara and liner does not come out with soap and water alone. You need this waterproof makeup remover. Any waterproof makeup remover will do the trick. You can also try coconut or olive oil.

10-Use shimmering nude lip gloss or coral and pink lipsticks
If you want a soft look apply a lip balm with an SPF to protect your lips and keep it moist, dab some shimmering eyeshadow on your lips with your finger and then top it with clear, nude, light pink or peach gloss. Or, you can go for these beautiful pink and coral lipstick. I love these colors in the summer. Summer Must Have Coral/Orange/Pink Lipsticks - Hair ...

And remember to keep it beautiful but yet elegant and clean looking so you can look as beautiful as a bright summer day. -:)))

Is It A Fashion Mistakes or A Defense Mechanism

Ohhhhhhhh!!!
What should I do?

Am I living under a simple fashion mistake, a denial or a defense mechanism?
Should I fix my fashion mistakes, get out of my denial, or should I go into a defense mechanism? Now that's the million dollar question?

Who doesn't like to look good?
Every human being caries a desire to look good, it's in our genes.
You should never rely on Media, Magazines or TV shows about fashion produce to rule your lifestyle or wardrobe. Remember those clothes are for models whose jobs are to starve themselves to death in order to be a size "0", and not to mention how extremely overpriced they are!

First impression is based on your appearance! Not your Talent! We have to admit, in today's society ~ clothes does matter. So be smart and make the right choices, so people can judge you for whom you really are. There's no shame in making a fashion mistake. We've all done it, even the celebrities have been know to do it. It's just a bad judgement of the moment, nothing else! So, you just learn from it and move on to a better choice.

What's Fashion Mistake:
➩ following the crowd
depending on other people's opinions
buying what ever you find just because it's on Sale
being slaves to what media and magazine fashion dictates
slaves of so called, high fashion, anti-fashion, counter-culture fashion, suburban mom fashion, etc
always stretching your money to buy as many pieces as you can, you'll have lots of  clothes but nothing good to wear

Showing too much skin

I like Toni Braxton but showing too much skin is neither pretty nor sexy!!!
Just because celebrities does it - it doesn't make it right.  Sorry, but it makes you look cheap and easy...

Muffin Tops

They are not attractive at all!
If you like low-rise jeans make sure it fits properly. Whenever you have these "love handles" bulging out, it means your jeans are too tight. Go a size over, believe or not, you'll look much better. It's not sexy, it makes your legs look shorter and your waist chunkier. I don't think any woman likes that. To me that's a fashion mistake, because it's hurting your beautiful feminine physique.

Being stuck In The Past

Lets face it, we all had a specific period in our lives that we loved our bodies, the size we wore, or the trend of the moment. But we have to acknowledge that everything in life changes. Fashion as well as our bodies. We cannot be stuck in the past. We need to readjust our tastes and styles, by experimenting few shapes and cuts. If you stay stuck in the past it will definitely hold you back from new experiences and looking your best.

Ill Fitting Clothes:

Too big or too small, they are  both unattractive.
They both make you look bad.
Don't hide you beautiful shape on the extra folds of your clothes, and don't try to squeeze yourself into something that don't fit you - it makes you look like a sausage!
The purpose of your clothes are to flatter you- by showing your beautiful feminine curves.

Over Accessorize

Believe or not, there is something as too much!
I absolutely love statement pieces, they bring life to any outfit.
You can wear a simple jeans and T-shirt, by simply adding some statement jewelry pieces, you're stylish. Over-doing it, however, is neither stylish nor sexy. It's a mess.
It's definitely a fashion mistake!

Proper underwear

To me panty-lines are the most annoying fashion mistakes!
An ill fitting underware can ruin your entire outfit, and not to mention how unattractive and unpleasant it is. Nobody want to see your G-string or the color of your underware! That's why it's called underware. It's suppose to be under!

What's Defense Mechanism:
Defense mechanism is a shield we put up to protect ourselves from things that we don't want to talk about or deal with. It's either we know its wrong, but we're too proud to admit it - or we think its too hard and bothersome, so we prefer not to deal with it.  So we shift into a defense mechanism such as:

to think that just your natural beauty is enough
to think that just your performance at work is enough
to think that fashion is lame, overrated, unnecessary and just a waste of money
to allow the concept of fashion to rob you of it's enjoyment or overwhelm you to the point of doing nothing to better  yourself
to go into a Defense Mechanism because you don't know what to do with fashion
acting like everyone is jealous of you,  that everyone is wrong except you, etc, etc, etc...

How To Know If I Have A Diamond Face

Help!!!!!!!!!
How do I know if I have a Diamond shape-face?
Well, I'm gonna try to make this as simple as possible.

Stand in front of a mirror and pull your hair back, if you're a Diamond,

Your face basically looks like an egg.
Both of my daughters have diamond  shape faces; they have beautiful prominent cheekbones.

It's easy! Look at these shapes.

Draw one on a sheet of paper and cut it out. Now standing in front of a mirror, place it on your face and see if it matches the shape of your face.
If you are a diamond, your hairline is narrow, and your jawline comes to a point at your chin. Meaning your cheekbones are wider than your chin and your forehead.

A Diamond shape-face is beautiful.
In order for you hair cut or style to fit the shape of your face perfectly, first you need to know what's your face shape! it's difficult to decide on a hair style, if you don't know what suits your face! Right?

So, what's the best hair style for you?
I'll make it as simple as possible:
Keep your hair loose and don't let it hug your face. Simple as that!

You can style your hair any way you like it, smooth waves, messy texture waves like beach waves, pin straight, or even lots of crazy curls, they can all look good on you with some small adjustments. What adjustments you may ask? You have beautiful cheekbones, why cover it?
So, the less hair you have on your face the prettier you'll look.

Long Bob
Just like Kiera Knightley looks great on your beautiful diamond shape face.

Deep side part and push back

If you find it difficult to keep your hair to stay in place, use some mousse at the root before you blow-dry. Also try a zig-zag or a diagonal part instead of straight up, that will help to balance the weight of your hair and help it to stay in place better.

Bangs
My daughters both have diamond shape faces, Elsie looks amazing here with her long soft bang

Soft draping gentle bangs, and straight across lightly layered fringe like these ones will look great on you.

Long sleek layers
Just like Jennifer Aniston will look great on you

This cut/style is perfect for a diamond or square face shape.
Lots of loose layers keep a diamond face shape open and out of the face.

Ponytails & Updos
Ponytails looks great on you,  weather it's high, low or center.
Remember "The" more push back your hair is- the prettier you look

High, low, center or side ways- they all look great on you.

All you need to do is to add a soft bang and Voíla!

What to avoid:
Avoid heavy bangs
Avoid conehead styles, meaning too much volume at the top of your head.

Too much volume at the top of your head makes you look like an 'egghead' that's what my daughters use to call it when they were small. Whenever I use to style their hair in the ways they didn't like it, they use to cry and said: you made me look --- like an egghead!!! :-)))

Please let me know if these informations were helpful to you, or if you have any more doubts or questions I would like to hear from you.

" But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsoffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law". Galatians 5:22-23

Mules - The Most Popular Shoes of 2014 Spring/Summer

So what's a Mule, you may ask?
A mule is a backless shoes with closed toe. It can be any heel height, from flat to high.

High heel mules, were a popular indoor shoe style of the 18th century.
As you can see the word of God never fails, as it states; "There's nothing new under the sun".
This 18th century is "The" most popular shoes for this 2014 Spring/Summer.
If you didn't get one yet, go get yourself one. They're very elegant, pretty, and very comfortable.

They are for men as well as women:
It's an increasingly popular shoes this Spring/Summer for men as well as women.
There's a range of mule styles available. It can be sporty as mule sneakers, comfortable mule loafers, mule wedges, or pretty fancy high-heel ones.

Remember you want to be a modern stylish women, you don't want to look like your grandma.
They can be comfortable as well as fancy. I love them because they're easy to no fuss shoes, easy to wear. Just slip them on and off you go. Just make sure they fit you nicely, that your heels are not hanging out, but you also don't have too much of shoe soles sticking out either. Ill fitting shoes are uncomfortable and not attractive at all.

You Can Wear Mules with Pants, Dresses or Skirts:
You can wear them with anything. The chunkier the heels the more casual it'll look.
The thinner the heels the more dressy and elegant it is. Thinner mule-heels looks great or better with shorter skirts.

Which ones look better on Thin or Thick Legs/ankles:
Some people might say that thinner heels looks better on women with skinner legs and that chunkier heels looks better on women with thick legs and ankles, but I say go with whatever you like and looks good on you. The only thing I can tell you, is decide on what you like, elegant or casual, or sporty. There's a large range of styles, the choice is yours.

I hate Dos and Don'ts...
I think no one has the right and power on telling you what you should and shouldn't wear!
We should have the rights as adults to pick and choose what we like an dislike in life.
It's a privilege given to us by God!

High and Dainty kitten heels Mules are more elegant:
Pretty fancy Dainty kitten heels looks much better on you. They'll look much more elegant on you.

Chunky and wedge-Mules are more casual:
If you have thick legs and ankles, chunkier heels looks better on you with a dress or a skirt. Chunky wedged-heels makes your ankle look skinner.

Which one looks better with Jeans:
This maryjane black wedge-heel, and this chunky one looks great with your boot cut Jeans.
Thin heels looks great with your skinny Jeans.

Loafer Mules are for comfort:
Very pretty and very comfortable
Nike Mule sneakers, how cool!

Great for a relaxing walk in the park or the beach with your shorts or jeans. Great for a relaxing walk in the park or the beach with your shorts.

How to Prevent Armpit Sweaty Stains

Ouchhhhhh!!!!!!!
Really!!!

Before you take some drastic decisions, such as dangerous surgical, or stick some painful expensive Botox needles under your arms, here are some really good inexpensive ideas.

Hyperhidrosis is a medical condition in which a person sweats excessively and unpredictably. People with hyperhidrosis may even sweat when the temperature is cool.

If you suffer from "Hyperhidrosis" You need to try these things.
You don't need to hide your sweaty armpit in dark colors, you can wear whatever color you like with just few guidelines. It's embarrassing yes, but its natural, its human. I suffer from it big time and I absolutely hate it, but I don't allow it to make my life miserable. I improvise.

Yeap, Celebrities suffer from it too!

The embarrassment of walking around with those ugly wet stains under your arm is pretty awful, not to mention how it ruins your pretty expensive clothing. Once you start shooting those nasty smelly sweat glands under your arms, it can definitely make you loose self-confidence, no matter how pretty you think your outfit is.

Yeap, it's nasty!!!

If you would simply like to maintain your outer clothing nice and Dry , try to wear a cotton under shirt, or try these disposable peel and stick absorbent underarm pads. You can purchase them at the website listed here, or you don't want to spend too much money, use these self stick always liners, they work just fine.

Visit this  http://kleinertsstore.com for your starter kit bag of 12 absorbent disposable and washable  underarm shields.

If you want to Block your sweat - than you need to try this SweatBlock here. It's a liquid formula soaked on a soft cotton pad, that you dab once a week at bed time.

http://antiperspirant.sweatblock.com/sweatblock-antiperspirant/

Tips:
1- Try non-aluminum containing deodorant.

2- Check my post How To Remove Those Ugly Embarrassing Stains

3- Crush the aspirin pill, put it into a 100ml or 3.3fl oz of warm water. Soak your clothing overnight, make sure all the stain is gone before washing it.If the stain is not completely gone repeat the treatment.

4- Make a solution of vinegar and water. Soak it overnight, make sure the stain is gone before wash.

5-Mix four tablespoons of baking soda with one quarter cup water. Make a paste and brush it on with a toothbrush, let it sit until the stain is gone than wash.

6-Avoid heat. Hot water or heat from the dryer will make it worse. wash the item in cold water, and allow it to air dry until the stain is gone.

7-Avoid chorine bleach.
Because your clothing may be white, you might be temped to bleach the stain. But don't do it! Bleach will make the stain yellow because it reacts with the proteins in sweat.

"So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God". James 1:19
